As of the latest update on the second Saturday, the action-packed film has racked up a remarkable amount of Rs 92.98 crore at the Indian box office. With a distribution value (considered as cost/budget) of Rs 40 crore for release in India, the film achieved a return on investment (ROI) of Rs 44 crore. This translates to a profit percentage of 110 percent, making it a resounding blockbuster.

Fast and Furious has amassed $7 billion (Rs 52,129 crore) at the global box office, making it the fifth franchise to achieve this feat in just 11 films. It shares the record of reaching the $7 billion mark with Warner Bros.’ The Wizarding World movies, including the Harry Potter franchise, as both franchises achieved this milestone with the fewest movies. He Fast and Furious The films have earned Rs 13,904 crore at the US box office and Rs 36,204 crore internationally, resulting in an impressive total gross of Rs 52,129 crore.

At the forefront of directing, Louis Leterrier is helming the next two films in the fast-paced franchise, previously believed to be the final chapters in the long-running series. However, echoing lead actor Vin Diesel’s sentiments, Leterrier has hinted that additional movies may still be on the horizon.
Louis further acknowledged that “it is difficult to give an answer” as to whether x fast part 2 will serve as the grand finale of the franchise. He emphasized that the uncertainty of the film industry, underscored by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, adds an additional layer of unpredictability, as he commented in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
