Samsung has officially confirmed that the next-generation S-series flagship smartphones will be unveiled on February 1 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event taking place in San Francisco.

The Galaxy S23 series will consist of three different models: the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 Plus, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This information has been obtained through leaks and rumors.

Here’s a quick rundown of everything we’ve learned so far about the upcoming flagship Galaxy S23 series of smartphones that will be made by Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S23 will have a 6.1-inch screen and will be the most compact model of the group; the Galaxy S23 Plus will have a 6.6-inch screen, making it significantly larger than the standard Galaxy S23. Both models will be equipped with an AMOLED display that has a resolution of at least FHD+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. The leaks also imply that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus will have a maximum nominal brightness of 1750 nits, which is likely to be limited to HDR mode. This information comes from the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus.

The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will continue to offer a premium design just like their predecessors, the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus. According to rumors, the phones will have slightly curved metal frames and will have a glass sandwich design. On top of that, both the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus are rumored to be offered in a variety of color options, including Phantom Black, Mystic Lilac, Cotton Flower, and Botanical Green.

The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus will have an identical main camera setup to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, with three different circular camera cutouts. Both phones will have a triple camera setup that includes a wide angle, an ultra wide angle, and a telephoto lens. These smartphones are also expected to include an updated selfie camera.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power both the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus, which will have at least 8GB of RAM, and users will have the option of saving their data on either 128 or 256GB of internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The S-Pen will come pre-installed on the S23 Ultra, just like the S22 Ultra. The camera setup of the S23 Ultra will be very similar to that of the S22 Ultra. On the other hand, the main camera of the S23 Ultra will have a resolution of 200 megapixels, which will be the first in a Samsung smartphone. Not only that, but the phone’s camera is anticipated to perform better in low-light conditions and it will also contain a dedicated periscope zoom lens, just like the S22 Ultra.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will come in a variety of color options, including Botanical Green, Cotton Flower, Mystic Lilac, and Phantom Black, just like the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus. The mobile device will include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 system-on-chip (SoC), a minimum of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage space at its disposal.
