The lambs usually stay with the mothers for about 4 to 6 months.
Lambs usually begin to walk only a few minutes after birth and are highly dependent on their mother sheep for the first four to six months. They can recognize up to 50 sheep faces, but have also been trained to recognize various humans.
Lamb babies generally stay with their mother after they are born for a period of four to six months. During this time, the lambs depend on their mother for food, protection and guidance as they grow and develop.
The mother sheep plays a vital role in raising and caring for her offspring, teaching them important skills such as herding and social interaction within the flock. As the lambs become more independent and mature, they gradually become less dependent on their mother and begin to explore the world on their own.
