On this day, water should be offered to the Shivling only from a brass pot.

This year in India, Nag Panchami will be celebrated on August 21, that is, on Monday. The auspicious time of Nag Panchami Puja will start from 5:53 in the morning until 8:30 in the morning. And in Gujarat, Nag Panchami falls on 4th September 2023 i.e. Monday. The Nag Panchami to be held on Krishna Paksha i.e. July 7 will remain only in the states of Rajasthan, Bihar and Jharkhand.
