On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, an idol or image of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi should be installed by placing a clean cloth on a pole. If the color of the cloth is yellow, it is considered very auspicious.
Yellow color is highly appreciated by Lord Vishnu, so on Ekadashi fasting day, keep yellow flowers, clothes, fruits (banana or mango), kalash and mango leaves in the worship material.
Be sure to keep betel leaf, clove, betel nut, camphor, yellow sandalwood, Akshat, water filled coconut, panchmeva, kumkum, turmeric, frankincense, lamp, sesame, sweets, molly etc. in worship material. Worship is considered incomplete without these things.
Panchamrit has special importance in Hinduism. That is why in the worship of Lord Vishnu, make sure to include Panchamrit i.e. liquid mixed with milk, curd, ghee, sugar and honey. It is said in the scriptures that by offering Panchamrit and consuming it after worship, the worshiper gets the full fruit of worship.

According to the Hindu calendar, the Ekadashi Tithi month of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha will begin on May 30 at 1:07 p.m. and end on May 31 at 1:45 p.m. In such a situation, this fast will be observed on the 31st of 2023, on Wednesday. On the other hand, the Ekadashi fast will be observed on the next day, i.e. June 1, between 05:24 am and 08:10 am.
