Odisha Rail Tragedy: YouTuber Carry Minati raised funds for the victims through a charity live stream.
JE Entertainment Desk: In the eastern Indian state of Odisha, a horrific collision between three trains has left 275 dead and more than 1,000 injured, many seriously. From B-town celebrities to famous personalities from different industries, many have come forward to extend their support to the victims. However, BGMI YouTuber and streamer Ajey Nagar, popularly known as Carry Minati, held a charity live stream to raise funds.
On Saturday, Carry Minati hosted a BGMI charity live stream airing ‘PRAY FOR ODISHA TRAIN ACCIDENT – CHARITY STREAM’ on his ‘Carryislive’ gaming channel. From both India and abroad, webcasting attracted a sizeable number. Later, the YouTuber also tweeted to express his gratitude to his followers for his kind contributions to this civic cause.

He took to his Twitter account and expressed his gratitude towards everyone. He revealed that the total amount raised reached almost Rs 11 lakh, and that he contributed another Rs 1.5 lakh to increase the impact, bringing the total to approximately Rs 13.37 lakh.

Minati wrote on Twitter: “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who supported the charity broadcast yesterday. Thanks to your generous contributions, we were able to raise a total of INR 11,87,611.64 as of 1pm today. To get even better Plus the impact, I personally added INR 1.5 lacs, bringing the total to INR 13 37 612. In the future, we will provide regular updates every other day, and if any offline donations come in, we will make sure that it transfers immensely as well. proud and grateful for all of you. bohot bohot shukriya yaar”.
He also shared a screenshot of his letter about his contribution to the relief fund of the Chief Minister, Odisha, as well as his bank statement of the money transfer.
