JE Entertainment Desk: Popular actor Shivangi Johsi is set to star opposite Kushal Tandon in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show Barsaatein. Due to their competition, Shivangi and Kushal have a sizable fan base, with fans eagerly awaiting the premiere of their new show, Barsaatein. While Shivangi will be seen playing the lead role of a journalist, Kushal will be seen falling for her.

About Barsaatein

The show was expected to go live at the end of May, but was delayed. According to a report by India Forums, Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon’s new show Barsaatein has locked its release date.

Barsaatein release date

Barsaatein will be released on June 19 and will premiere on Sony TV. It is pertinent to note that an official confirmation is still awaited.

On the professional front, Kushal Tandon, who was last seen in Beyhadh, will mark his return to television after six years. He has participated in shows like Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Nach Baliye 5, Bigg Boss 7, and Khatron Ke Khiladi 5.

On the other hand, Shivangi Joshi became a household name after his tenure with Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She essayed the role of Naira opposite Mohsin Khan who played Kartik. She also starred in Balika Vadhu 2 and was a part in Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12. She was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Bekaboo.
