Cricketer Shubhman Gill has voiced Pavitr in the Hindi dubbed version of ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse has finally been released in India and the movie has created a lot of hype globally. The film also caught the attention of the audience in India as it will introduce an Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, for the first time.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Box Office:
‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ grossed Rs 6.75 crore approximately on the 4th as per early estimates. Its total box office take in India now stands at Rs 21 crore approx. The film faced a box office clash with ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ which has been doing well.
Cricketer Shubhman Gill has voiced Pavitr in the Hindi version. Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, has long, wavy, dark brown hair. He wears a mask that allows him to flaunt his wavy hair and dons gold bracelets on both wrists. Pavitr also wears blue dhoti-like pants to give an Indian touch to his costume.

His character has been a part of the Spider-Man comics since 2004. According to the CBR website, Spider-Man India launched in India in 2004 and was later introduced to the US in 2005.
In English, Pavitr Prabhakar has been voiced by Karan Soni. He said: “I think it’s very exciting that the film is being dubbed in nine Indian languages. It’s very exciting because I grew up in India and we absolutely love Spider-Man. When it was announced that I would be playing him, I can’t tell you how many messages I got from the people. First, they were excited, and then there were some more serious messages, mainly saying, ‘Don’t screw this up.’ I don’t think we’ve done it!”
The film stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.
