Despite clashing with Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’, the movie has successfully drawn audiences into theaters and has also received critical acclaim.

‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ grossed around Rs 9 crore on the 3rd according to early estimates and its total box office take now stands at Rs 21.69 crore.

In an interview with Zee News, Vicky Kaushal revealed why she accepted ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’.

“When I heard the story, I instantly connected to the movie. When you watch the movie, you’ll feel like I’ve related to it personally a lot. And the most important thing that I related to was, of course, that this movie is about a family united. The character I played is very stingy because middle-class people always think about saving,” said Vicky.

He further added: “They don’t live for today, they save for tomorrow. Kapil and Somya are entangled in this journey of whether to live for today or save for tomorrow. I related to this aspect on a personal level and felt that this message is portrayed in a very endearing in the film, which touched my heart”.

The film stars Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the lead role along with Neeraj Sood, Kanupriya Pandit, Rakesh Bedi, Harcharan Chawla, Akash Khurana, Sushmita Mukherjee and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles. It will premiere on Jio Cinema after its theatrical run.
